RECacril® Marine fabrics

We use RECacril® Marine fabrics to dress our deck chairs.

RECacril® Marine fabrics are made from 100% solution dyed acrylic fibers and are designed for use on boats for its exceptional colour resistance in highly demanding marine environments.
PVC Technical characteristics
RECacril® Marine fabrics have an outer surface finish according to the enhanced Infinity Process, for a greater waterproofing.
The enhanced Infinity Process provides to RECacril® Marine fabrics a softer and more ductile touch than the standard fabrics, facilitating their preparation to better adapt to the complex shapes of the nautical structures.

Maintenance for RECacril® Marine Canvases
The  high technology finish, Infinity Processprovides the RECASENS canvases with a long lasting protection against mold and excellent water and oil repellency, making awnings protect you from both sun and water for many years.
However, the accumulation of dust, air pollution particles, foreign organic materials and general dirt can damage this protection, shortening the life of the canvas so they must be eliminated.
The most effective method for maintaining canvases is to clean once a month with water with a low pressure hose, thereby, dirt accumulation into the fabric is avoided.
It is very important that after cleaning with water, the canvas should be completely dry before rolling back the awning.
In case of rain we can leave the awning open, since rain washes dirt. If for any reason you have to roll the wet awning, it must be unrolled as soon as possible and let it dry. In times of continuous rains is advisable to keep the awnings rolled.
If this periodic water washing is done, in most environments, you only need make a process more thorough cleaning every 2 or 3 years.
The steps to follow are:

1. Brush off excess dust and dirt with a soft brush. NEVER brush with stiff brushes since damage the finish film tissue.
2. Spray the awning with clean water. If a hose is used, to avoid high pressure.
3. Prepare a solution of solvent-free soap in warm water (no more than 40ºC) and apply it on the awning, letting penetrate tissue.
4. Rinse with water to remove all traces of soap.
5. Let air dry and no wind the awning until the canvas is completely dry.

The RECacril® Marine tarps are protected against the growth of fungi, however, whether fungi can grow on embedded dirt.
To clean these stains are needed more intensive cleaning using the following procedure:

1. Brush off excess dust and dirt with a soft brush. NEVER brush with stiff brushes since damage the finish film tissue.
2. Prepare a solution with 10% household bleach, 20% of solvent-free neutral detergent and 70% water.
3. Apply the solution onto the fabric, leaving act between 15 and 20 minutes maximum.
4. Rinse with clean water several times, as if bleach residues will remain on canvas, with the combined action of the sun, could damage the fabric.
5. Allow to air dry and no wind the awning until the canvas is completely dry.
6. Repeat the process if necessary.

To protect the environment, be sure to pick up the dirty water when using bleach as it can be harmful to animals and plants.

Aluminium Tubes

The frames used for our furniture are made of superior quality aluminum tubes.
Depending  on the requirements of the product, a different alloy is used.
On models that require extreme  resistance and weight capacity, we use alloys series 5000 with the addition of Manganese Chromium and Magnesium.
The surface of the tubes has undergone a chemical procedure called 'anodization'.
The result is the very efficient resistance of the tubes to the adverse climate conditions of the sea environment.

ORIGINAL TEXTILENE

The textilene material is a PVC coated polyester non stretch yarn. The fabric is very strong, 580gr/m2 and can support up to 120 kg weight. The melamine tops are manufactured with antihumid green chipboard. The surfaces above and below are covered with superior quality melamine. The edges are sealed with silicone and covered with protective anodized aluminum profile.
